With a passion for performance from a young age, Katie studied ballet, tap and modern with the Elmwood School of Dance and latterly with Gillian Cartwright. She complimented this with vocal training from Liz West.

She graduated from Winchester university with a BA (Hons) in Drama, Television, Theatre and Film and shortly followed this up by gaining qualified teacher status in Performing Arts. Within this time she directed countless musical theatre productions- Grease, High School Musical 1 and 2, The Boyfriend, Fame! and Bring it On to name but a few. She also worked with and supported students on multiple global rock performances and created ‘real life’ performance opportunities such as performing at the Bestival, Blackgang Chine and Island primary schools.
